Darryl Kourdouvelis
The Centralia Sports Hall of Fame
2000 VIP Award Winner

The 1951 Centralia High School graduate played on A.L. Trout’s last football team. After high school, he was a member of the “chain gang” for CHS home football games for 45 years, missing only two games.

At Centralia Junior College, he was a cheerleader, and also business and athletic manager for the 1952 and 1953 basketball teams.  For all of 45 years he was an ardent follower and supporter of Centralia sports.

In later years, he was known to still get out on the Trout Gym floor and lead a cheer for good ole CHS.  Kourdouvelis served on the Centralia Sports Hall of Fame committee for ten years (1986-1995) until he moved to Florida.
